Notary Public Stamp / Seal Requirements:
Rubber-inked stamp (Rectangular only with border). Required elements: A circular seal to the left that includes the words “Notarial Seal,” the words “State of Montana,” and the Notary’s official name.
Text to the right of the seal: Notary’s official name, the words “Notary Public for the State of Montana”' The words “Residing at” with the name of the city / state where the Notary lives, The words “My Commission Expires” followed by the expiration date, expressed as month(spelled out), day, and full year.
Ink color must black or blue and capable of being reproduced clearly by black / white scan, photocopy or other visible and legible means.
*An embosser may not be used. The State of Montana has mandated the use of the ink stamp as above.
